Sled Report for the Weekend
Well I bet we are in for a busy weekend. Our trails are pretty much as good as they get. Highland Rovers opened up trails 78-79 for us and its listed as limited. Also limited is trail 77W from Tally Ho to Dwight. It is still a bit rough in some ares due to the tree canopy not letting the snow to get to the ground. All others are good to go. Any road running has pretty good coverage and with the predicted snow each day should keep it that way. • Comics on the Rocks!

  Feb. 10 - 12 will have you laughing in the aisles! The First Annual COMICS ON THE ROCKS weekend is happening, with events ranging from Live Stand-Up comics from MTV, Much Music Video on Trial and CBC's The Debators! -- on Friday, to Saturday's jam packed agenda.
  
  During the day Saturday, Cann Lake is offering Skating workshops and free skating on the lake. Cann Lake is located at Muskoka Heritage Place, so you can take a walk through the past there as well. Other events are planned in town as well.
  
  Our ski and snowshoe trails, toboggan hill are all open to you -- or try a hilarious game of Frisbee Golf on Snowshoes.
  
  Saturday Evening it is the Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood Improv Show, taking place at Deerhurst Resort. These stars of the Emmy nominated Whose Line Is It, Anyway? have teamed up to present an evening of extraordinary improv comedy. The show becomes truly interactive as audience members are called to the stage to participate. The Show has played to sold-out venues all over the country.
  
  To secure tickets, you need to be staying in the area. Bondi Village has several tickets available for this performance -- package them with any of our currently on-offer specials to make this a truly entertaining weekend.

  We offer an "Off peak Couples Package" of $150.00 per night. Play, Explore, Unwind, Reconnect with each other in a cosy  housekeeping (self catered) cottage of your own, with a great view to the lake.
  Offer includes complementary use of snowshoes, and - to warm you up - a gift bag of hot chocolate and locally brewed coffee.
  Cottages have complete kitchens, fireplaces and are comfortably equipped.
  We can be flexible with check in check out times if arrangements are made ahead of time.
  Minimum two nights stay. These packages are available as space permits and may not be available for peak holiday times. Come and savour the peace and quiet -- try snowshoeing or cross country skiing on our private trails, or turn up the heat with locally provided sleigh rides, dog sledding, downhill skiing.

• Ice Fishing Special

  Stay with us, in our large comfortable cottages and use a fish-hut at Dwight Beach, five minutes away. Dwight is where two rivers join, so that's where the fish like to hang. For those in your party who prefer not to fish, we've got ski/snowshoe trails, toboggan hills, skating, fireplaces and a great place to get ready to cook the fish you bring home. Our 15 km. of cross country ski trails start at your cottage door -- ski or snowshoe as long or as short a distance as you like, and return to your comfortable cottage, with fireplace just waiting to welcome you home. Watch for wildlife and birds right here on our lawns, or along our private trails through our 600 acre wilderness. Toboggan down big hills, or little ones -- try skating on a lake rather than in an arena. It's all right here, no need to start the car. Whe you're ready to venture farther afield, we include a Park Pass into either Algonquin or Arrowhead Provincial Parks. There's more to discover -- nearby downhill skiing, dog-sledding, tubing, sleigh rides will keep everyone busy. On starry nights, we also include a DARK SKIES program -- we'll help you find the North Star, Orion, and a whole lot more!

  Round Algonquin Park -- the most popular snowmobile loop trail in the Province. Stay with us - we are just minutes off the main trail, for a quiet night. Discounts for 2 night stays. • SANTA'S VILLAGE THEME PARK

  Santa's Village, in Bracebridge is one hour away from Bondi. Open in the summer season,this little theme park is fantastic for kids up to the middle teens. It is not too big, nor too expensive and you can do most of it in a day without getting tired. It is well treed so you don't get baked by the sun. They have Eagle Crest Aerial Park, on site. You can climb and zip line through the tall pine trees! Good for any age but you must like heights!! This feature is open all year too. For the older kids it has the best go cart track I have found in any theme park. BETTER THAN DISNEY (and I tried them both!) There are also batting cages and sports stuff like that. A great way to spend a day with the kids. We provide discount tickets to our Bondi guests.
