A Lunch With History
It was my lucky week -- I not only got to cruise on the S.S. Bigwin, but I was invited for lunch on the Island.... The general manager, Jonathan Gee was very kind and took the time to escort my friend Norma and me around the island by golf cart after our lunch. Which was fabulous. The old tea room has been fully restored, and it is a beautiful space. It is now being used for yoga, massage therapy and as the kitchen when there are tented events on the site of the old rotunda.     We offer an 15% discount to our treasured Seniors during all Mid-Week bookings.  Whether it is just the two of you, or you're coming with a group, give us a call -- our ski and hiking trails are suitable for all levels of energy, and there's always that welcoming fireplace!


    We offer an "Off peak Couples Package" of $158.00 per night. Play, Explore, Unwind, Reconnect with each other in a cosy  housekeeping (self catered) cottage of your own, with a great view to the lake.
    Offer includes complementary use of snowshoes, and - to warm you up - a gift bag of hot chocolate and locally brewed coffee.
    Cottages have complete kitchens, fireplaces and are comfortably equipped.
    We can be flexible with check in check out times if arrangements are made ahead of time.
    Minimum two nights stay. These packages are available as space permits and may not be available for peak holiday times. Come and savour the peace and quiet -- try snowshoeing or cross country skiing on our private trails, or turn up the heat with locally provided sleigh rides, dog sledding, downhill skiing.

    We still have some vacancies in August -- in housekeeping cottages right at the water's edge.  We are a perfect place for families, or for folks just looking to get away and relax. Plenty to do... and plenty of places to hang out and do nothing at all -- it's your choice!  We will accept a 5 night stay, but we have no weekends to offer during August.

    One cottage only, for the 3 nights of the Labour Day weekend -- Blackberry is open. This is a pet-friendly unit, ideal for up to 7 people. Rates include a bbq, canoe and all our resort facilities.
