Accommodation Rates & Information

A focal point of our resort is this beautiful bronze sculpture of a red-tail hawk, by local Muskoka Ontario artist Brenda Wainman Goulet. This wonderful soaring artwork is dedicated to the memory of Paul Tapley, who loved and cared for this piece of earth. Family and traditions are important to us - we've been here since 1905.

During July and August, we rent by the week.  The rest of the year, we offer minimum two night stays, and weekends with extended check-out times.  We offer special rates for Couples and Seniors during all off-peak times.

The information on our on-line system endeavors to be up to date, but may lag actual time. While technology is wonderful in many ways, we still enjoy talking face-to-face with our guests, so if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

COUPLES: $154/night, two night minimum.

SENIORS: 18% discount, two night minimum stay.

FAMILIES: 15% discount, two night minimum stay.

PAYMENT

We accept Visa, Master card and Debit cards and cheques (with suitable identification)

Deposit payments may also be made by Email Interac Payment.

DEPOSIT

• We require 40% deposit to confirm all reservations.
• For deposit refund; 36 days notice is required.
  EXCEPTION: July & August cancellation date is May 1st.
• A deposit handling fee of $75.00 is non-refundable.
• Deposits are applied to any unused portion of a reservation.

TAXES

Extra as applicable - HST 13%

SMOKING

Our entire resort is a non smoking area.

GRATUITIES

No service charges are added to your bill. Gratuities are optional.

HOUSEKEEPING INFORMATION BED N' BATH

• Linens, towels and face cloths are provided.
• Please request cribs or highchairs, or any special ed arrangements at time of reservation. Please bring your own crib linens.
• A towel exchange is provided mid-week on a request basis.
• A change of bed linens is provided for guests who are with us longer than a week.
• Please bring your own beach towels.
• A laundry facility is provided in summer.

ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES

Weekly & Daily Bookings: Check-in 3pm Check-out 10am
Weekend Bookings: Check-in after 4pm Check-out 5pm Sunday

It takes us time to prepare the cottage for the next guests so we ask that you respect these times. We may be able to vary these times by prior arrangement. Significant changes may require an extra charge. As a small family establishment we close our office about 6 pm. If you need to check-in later please call us with your estimated arrival time before 6 pm. Visitors not registered in a unit may be charged a "day use" fee. Please advise us if you are having such guests.

FIRE SAFETY

A gas BBQ, picnic table and lawn chairs are included with each cottage. Due to fire regulations outdoor fires are not permitted.

BOATS

1 canoe, 2 paddles & 2 lifejackets are included with cottage rentals, in season. A paddleboat is complimentary. Power boats from 6 to 70 HP and kayaks may be rented. To ensure availability please reserve your boat at time of booking your accommodation. (See our boats page for rental rates) Docking is available at a nominal fee if you have your own boat.

PETS

Regretfully we cannot accept pets.
Boarding arrangements may be made in nearby kennels in advance.
