Every week we have a Marathon Swim event, great for those who swim, canoe, kayak, row or just like to watch and cheer.

Every cottage has its own canoe. We also have rowboats, fishing boats, kayaks, windsurfers and ski boats. And we'll teach you how to use them.

Sailing -- where better than on Lake of Bays?

Frisbee Golf! We have a short course on the main lawn... 9 holes of challenging fun just across the road. Guests can sign out the discs at the office.

Go Wildlife Watching -- we include a Pass into Algonquin or Arrowhead Provincial Park for all our guests to enjoy.

Join us for the Marathon Swim -- to the Point. And Back. Or to the Island, 1.6 km. away

Nature hikes on our trails can lead to artistic adventures too!

A super day trip is to Parry Sound, for a trip in a float plane with Georgian Bay Airways. Brian has his own small Piper Cub PA-11, right here.

Some of our guests bring their horses on vacation too, at our stables. Others enjoy trail riding at one of three nearby centres.

So many butterflies -- guests always enjoy watching the caterpillars spin the chrysalis and emerge as flying flowers!

There are lots of places to mountain bike, including the fabulous Rail Trail in Algonquin.

Bring your own boat. We've got lots of dock space available. And with 330 miles of shoreline, Lake of Bays is a wonderful place to explore from the water.

Historical Plaques around the Lake provide incentive for a drive, a picnic, and a little education.

Ragged Falls -- a super place to picnic and admire the biggest waterfall on the Oxtongue River.

White Water Rafting on the Ottawa is an easy Day Trip if you are staying with us.

Visit area museums -- Muskoka Heritage Place, Dorset Museum, Lucy Maude Montgomery house, and this one -- Bethune House in Gravenhurst. It's not ALL about the Lakes!
