SANTA'S VILLAGE THEME PARK
Santa's Village, in Bracebridge is about one hour away from Bondi. Open in the summer season,this little theme park is fantastic for kids up to the middle teens. It is not too big, nor too expensive and you can do most of it in a day without getting tired. It is well treed so you don't get baked by the sun.
For the older kids it has the best go cart track I have found in any theme park. BETTER THAN DISNEY (and I tried them both!) There are also batting cages and sports stuff like that.
We can offer a reduced rate admission to our guests as well. A great way to spend a day with the kids. |

ALGONQUIN PARK
We are just a 10 minute drive from the West Gate of Algonquin Provincial Park.
We offer a complimentary car pass to the park for day use.
While most of the park facilities Close for the winter, Just driving through can be beautiful. The park visitor centre is open weekends year round and hiking is always open. If it snows, you can use snowshoes, or try your skill on some of the parks ski trails. They have lots of trails, groomed once the winter arrives.
If you are planning for the spring don't forget that April and May are the prime months to see moose along the Highway 60 corridor.
If you just must canoe, the ice usually melts about the end of April.

HERITAGE PLACE (PIONEER VILLAGE) HUNTSVILLE
This is a little historical park, done along the theme of Upper Canada Village or Black Creek village. It is a quiet oasis of history right in the town of Huntsville so some of you can spend a few hours there while those of you addicted to Wal Mart can shop at the same time.
This park has the added and unique feature of an OPERATING STEAM TRAIN which will not be found in most other parks. The route is short, but everything is very authentic.
Well worth a visit it can be done in 3 to 4 hours easily, kids included.
IN WINTER the train does not run (except for a special one night pre Christmas run. The museum is open mid May to mid Oct. They open for a special "Victorian Christmas" Please check their website www.muskokaheritageplace.org for times. |

Train the Terrain for Ironman 70.3 in Muskoka
Bondi Village cottage resort is located right on the course for the Ironman 70.3 event this September. We offer a DISCOUNT OF 15% to any competitors and their families who wish to come a litte early and train on the course that they will race. We are right on the lake, and have great swimming, running and biking routes available all around us. All our units are self catering so if your training requires special food you can make whatever you want at any time of day. |
