Year Round Cottage Accommodation

All four seasons are fabulous at Bondi Village.  Summer is prime time -- 1200' of shallow sandy beachfront, coupled with our huge sandpile, water trampoline and slides,  and childrens' play areas always mean the lake is the focal point of the season. We have enough frontage that it is never crowded, with lots of private places for those who want to be by the water undisturbed.  Extensive hiking trails through our private wilderness offer great photo opportunities and a chance to get close to Nature.  Each rental includes a canoe, and we have windsurfers, kayaks, sailboats, fishing boats and waterskiing boats avaialable for rental.  We teach waterskiing, too.  Every cottage has a picnic table, shady places and lawn chairs. All look directly to the water, with some located right at the water's edge.

Spring brings hikers and birdwatchers, with new birds arriving daily along the migration routes. April and May are the months when Algonquin Park almost guarantees moose sightings from Highway 60.  With our extensive sloping lawn and almost constant on-shore breeze, biting insects are rarely an issue during the day.

Autumn in Muskoka means spectacular colour as the trees change their leaves. The views are breathtaking, and ever changing. It's the perfect time to get out in canoes, kayaks, with hot days and cool nights that are perfect for outdoor activities.

In winter, you can drive to the door - and then step out that same door onto your cross country skis! Snowmobilers can park their sleds right at the cottages - we link onto the Muskoka Ontario Snowmobile Region trails directly from Bondi Village Resort! We're never without a hill for sliding for the toboggan set - and snowbanks transform into wonderful snow forts for all ages! Clean, comfortable housekeeping cottages, with electric heat and fully equipped kitchens, let you enjoy it all.

We have thirteen cottages, electrically heated, ideally situated and appointed. All have fireplaces, 4 piece baths, fully equipped kitchens including all necessary cutlery and utensils, electric range and refrigerator. Beds have spring mattresses, pillows and blankets. Linen is included on all cottage rentals. Rates include wood for the fireplace, all utilities and garbage disposal. Our water system provides potable water directly from the taps.

  This unit is ideal for small family reunions, or families vacationing together. A lot of our family history is on display in the Lodge, including photographs from productions of Gilbert & Sullivan operettas in England and Australia during the late 800’s!

• Anchor Cottage

  Accommodation is located above our private boat house (accessed only by staff) and projects into Lake of Bays, so there is a lake view from three sides of the cottage.

• Blackberry Cottage

  This cottage is unique at Bondi Village Resort. Located in a private location tucked into the trees with a narrow view to the water and Lake of Bays, this is a Dog Friendly unit (with some restrictions). A woodburning fireplace is provided to help you and your pooch get dry after a day of chasing snowballs.

• Cedars Cottage

  Tucked into a screen of cedar trees, this cottage is located right at the edge of Lake of Bays, with a wonderful view and a woodburning fireplace for those cold Muskoka winter evenings.

  This is a very large unit, right by the waters edge with its own private dock and sand beach. It features a stone fireplace and an enclosed porch for that special guest that just dropped in.
