About Bondi Village Resort

There is much to do at Bondi Village Cottage Resort and in the surrounding area of Muskoka and nearby Algonquin Highlands. Just minutes away from the village of Dwight, in Muskoka, Bondi Village offers a friendly, informal atmosphere suitable for families and couples in a natural environment.

Our family has been here since 1905, and we are the third generation to own and operate Bondi Village. From our beginnings as a pioneer farm, Bondi has gradually transformed into one of Muskoka's premier housekeeping cottage resorts, with many unique features preserving our heritage.

With over 240 hectares (600 acres) of wilderness woodlands surrounding the resort, just ten minutes from Algonquin Park, we feature over 400 metres (1200’) of waterfront and beach; boat rentals; summer hiking trails winding through fields and woods; frisbee golf course; 20 km. of groomed cross country ski and snowshoe trails in winter; access to nearby snowmobile trails for sledders, and a toboggan hill for the young at heart.

Fall colours are spectacular - a walk through our maple sugar bush rewards the hiker or birdwatcher with unparalleled photo opportunities. The sugar bush is also popular in spring, when the sap is running! During the summer, our large organic garden provides fresh produce for our cottagers, too!

Our cottages are widely spaced for privacy and to preserve that “uncrowded” feeling. All are modern, with electric heat, and fireplaces, fully equipped kitchens and  four piece bathrooms. We are open year round!
